Construction Skilled Laborer

Responsibilities:

• Reports to different work sites to complete required tasks/projects as directed

• Knowledge and use of power tools such as drills, saws, and nail guns along with hand tools such as hammers, shovels, and follow instructions using plans.

• Cleans and prepares construction sites to eliminate possible hazards

• Tasks include wood/metal framing, drywall, FRP, T-Bar, tile, and concrete

• Must be able to keep up in a fast paced environment and adapt to varying needs on job sites.

• Have their own basic hand tools and cordless power tools.

• Legibly complete paperwork & turn in timely

• Expected to perform repetitive physical tasks that require lifting, pushing, and pulling of material/product and standing throughout each shift.

• Must have valid California Driver License and clean driving record. Final candidate will be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report, ability to successfully pass a drug screening and Criminal Background Check prior to hiring.

Qualifications:

• Strong Carpentry Skills

• Certified forklift drivers - all terrain, reach lift, sit down and/or stand up exp. with Certification.

• Strong General Trade Experience

• Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) is a plus

• Finish experience

• Thorough knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in both rough and finished carpentry in commercial / industrial settings; applicable building and safety code requirements; methods and practices followed in the maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Flexibility – must be able to manage changes and work demands
